3-D WorldRunner
A famous, popular sci-fi shooter, although it's an obvious rip-off of Space Harrier. Be the WorldRunner, save eight worlds in the galaxy from destruction from eight serpent beasts, yada, yada, yada. One of the few Nintendo games to use an over-the-shoulder viewpoint, and a great challenge. By World 4 you want to scream because making leaps over pits is that hard. Still flawed but its lack of originally, and since I love Space Harrier, it goes down.
Graphics B- (The 2-D version is somewhat flat, and the serpent beasts don't move well. In the 3-D with the glasses on, the objects have no depth and the two images don't line up exactly. Warning, Do not play the 3-D version without the glasses while smoking pot; the blood vessels in your eyes will explode!)
Sound/Music C (Not much in either department; the sound effects are limited, and there is only one main BGM, while quickly becomes annoying.)
Play Control B (Jumping can be a real bitch, and you should come equipped with the laser blaster, not have to find it in the stage.)
Challenge A+
Fun Factor B (Dampened by the level of difficulty)
Replay Value B+
Overall B
