720
Alright, technically, the title of this game is Seven-Hundred Twenty Degrees, but since my computer can't make that funky little degree circle symbol, I have left it out of the title. Anyway, 720 is a fairly fun arcade-to-console skateboarding game that precedes the famed Skate Or Die! In fact, Ultra took the phrase Skate or Die from 720, which has a timer for you to skate around in the park before a massive swarm of bees comes to kill you... but I am getting ahead of myself already.
In this skatingboarding adventure, you control a cool skateboarder (aren't they all? :) as he competes in four events in a park. The game increases in classes of difficultly, and you must also use your winnings to buy better equipment so you can win in the higher classes. Unfortunately, I have no idea how many classes there are, neither the game or intruction manual specifies (I can only reach the third class). The play control is awkward at first, a foreshadowing of the problems with three-dimensional game playing in later systems like the N64, but the game itself is quite fun to play and master.
