Anticipation
Anticipation claims to be the first board game for the Nintendo and the game is structured as one. You play as actual game pieces on a pixel board. The object of the game is to gather four colored pieces à la Trivia Pursuit by guessing what object is being drawn onto the screen by a huge pencil. Once you gather all four pieces, you advance to a new level; there are three levels in all. Whoever collects all the peices first (12 in all) wins. My sister used to play this game all the time, and it is very fun to play it with friends. It might be the only video game you can convince your parents to play... if you're in to that kind of thing :) Anticipation allows you to choose the number of human and computer opponents, as well as the level of difficultly. As the game gets harder, puzzle categories are hidden, the dots that give you clues to an object's outline are gone, the computer takes more turns and guessing at your questions, and it's able to solve the puzzles before ANY human can. Still, Anticipation provides the best non-NES NES fun, and if that makes any sense to you at all, go out and pick one up.
