Arkanoid

Uh-oh, I feel a song comin' on, ("Trapped in a spaceship with youuuuuu...") OK, now that I got that out of my system, time to review this game. I think we're all familiar with the idea, ball and paddle game, you hit the ping pong ball (oops, the energy ball) with your paddle (oops, the Vaus) to knock out bricks in levels. (Apple's Little Brick Out, Atari's Breakout) But not many people know the plot to this game.(WAIT, THERE'S A PLOT!?)

The survivors of an alien invasion board the starship Arkanoid to find a new planet. However, they disappears and reappear inside an alien fortress. To escape, they steal the paddle from Pong (damn, the Vaus) and a ping pong ball. (damn, the energy ball) To escape they must knock out each brick, one at a time.

Tip: Don't buy this game without the special joystick! You won't stand a chance. To use the special paddle joystick, Use your thumb and index finger to turn it.

To survive in the later levels you must SLICE the ball with the edge of your controller. (the ball goes that fast) Slicing also delays the ball's return to you the most

You can skip up to level 16 by pressing A and Start while playing

You can continue (unlimited through the entire game) by pressing select 5 times while holding down A and B at the main screen
