Another game from Konami. The plot is the industry standard: Bayou Billy is a Louisiana cop tracking down the vile drug dealer Gordon. Gordon get pretty POed about this, so he kidnaps Billy's girlfriend to lead Billy to his doom. Billy must go through several (7 or 8) stages to find his belle. This leads way to the three different types of stages, which was a pretty ingenious idea at the time. The stages are street-fighting action stages, (side-scroller) Zapper stages, (though you can use the controller) and driving stages. I think that the breakdown is 4, 2, 2. What really drags this game down is the play control. It's very hard to get Billy to kill enemies in the street-fighting stages. The only reliable method I know is to jump kick backwards. And the driving stages a clunky, and the jeep is unresponsive.This is an OK game, but overall disappointing.
