Cancelled Games that turned into other games

Cheech and Chong the game! This game was cancelled because the object of the game was to smoke weed until you die! The game starts out in Cheech's house where you have to smoke enough weed to take flight then you have to go to the sky and collect weed that floats in the air .Sort of sticks to one subject huh! So LJN did the next best thing and reprogramed this game so it resembled The Karate Kid. That is why The Karate Kid is so pointless.

This game was originally called Richo. It had Richard Simmons as the main character. Once again two problems. No kid wants to play a game with Richard Simmons in it, and two Richard Simmons is so gay there is no way to get him out of prison. The programers tried everything, but his fag power changed it to read something like the above every single time! So they did some thinking and decided to change the name of the game to "Rambo" and to drop Richard Simmons as a character.

Frasier the game! Yes even Frasier almost had a game. The Object was to get through one day of Frasier's life dealing with Bulldog, Niles, his dad, and Ross. This game was cancelled because of the low scores it got on the test audience. The game was then reformatted and converted to Roller Games. Niles is still in the game.

Wow a game about being a pimp! Sounds like fun, but unfortunately Nintendo didn't think so. They refused to licence this game and made them change it to a game on stock exchange! Player Kid starts you out as a kid who has to take over his father's pimpin' business. As the pimp you have to make sure the hoes are inline and that all the tricks pay the right money and treat the hoes right. Later this game became Wallstreet Kid. Basically the same plot.

Hmmmm I can't imagine why this game was cancelled, UNDER AGE DRINKING in a video game! Nintendo took one look at this game and then kicked the creators out of their offices. The plot of this game was to pick your date up get drunk do her and then try to drive home. It is probably a good thing this game wasn't released.

Yes, that's right years before the movie the game Starship Troopers was almost released but, Nintendo felt it was way to violent and refused to licence it. So what to do with it? Simple, just take the plot and turn it into a movie. 4 years later there it was.

In case you are wondering (and I hope that your not) these are all fake I just made them up and added fake screenshots. All the rights to the games alter above belong to their creators and I am not affiliated with any of them.
