A Guide To Making A Good NES Webpage

The following are ten simple rules to making a good webpage that NES fans will want to visit.I am not going to explain how to make a webpage just what it should have and not have.

Don't have stuff on N64 mixed in with NES
This is really annoying when you find a review for Rampage and it turns out to be Rampage World Tour.

Don't register your page promising reviews, codes, manuals, and other cool stuff unless you have it
I can't tell you how annoying it is to click on a page that looks cool to see the most dreaded words on the internet UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Make your own images
It's ok to use someone elses but don't draw it from thier server and with all the roms today it's very easy to make screenshots so don't be a lamer.

Don't just link to other peoples stuff
If all your page is just a big link to another site then why would'nt people just go to that site? Why not make your own page not someone elses?

Don't ever post a review you didn't write and take credit for it
I would be very pissed if someone did that with mine if your gonna link it then acknowledge who wrote it.

Try not to just have codes and manuals
These things are all well and good but most sites have them so try and be original.

Update your page
Dont be a lamer and just make a half-ass page then forget about it.If you have no intention of doing something with it than turn it over to someone else or delete it.

Make your page readable
Some pages choose the worst color font and background making it impossible to read. Can you see this ?Because that is the color font some sites use with the same background.

Be original
Try and think up something humorous that hasn't been done before dont just take someone elses idea and add to it.

Be accurate
Make sure you have a reliable source on everything from codes to news, for example people will not believe that you can play as Wario in Super Mario Bros.3 or that Nintendo is re-releasing Kung Fu as a players choice game.
