THE NEW NES

     Released in 1994, this is a vastly superior machine to the original grey NES. Commonly called a TOP LOADER, this NES has you insert games vertically instead of push them horizontally then pushing them down. This solves the problem of having to jimmy games to run. (you know, when the red light blink, but nothing's on the screen) Also, the game comes with a new, circular controller that is easier on the hands and thumbs. (but good luck trying to find a 2nd controller) In addition to these wonderful improvements, the system itself is only $50 or less used! I bought mine at a Toys R' Us in California and it's wonderful! The games run perfectly; this machine is responsible for my new-found love of the NES and my collection of about 190 games. If you ever find one of these, BUY IT!!! You'll never regret it!

     BTW, you still have to jimmy some carts to work beacuse something is wrong with the cart itself. Read the editorial on getting games to work for more information.
