Rainbow Islands

OK, this game is more sugar-coated than Sailor Moon but it still manages to entertain its players. Subtitled inexplicitly The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 (BB2 came out after this) you play a boy trying to find 7 diamonds in the Rainbows Islands. The game has a Kindergarten atmosphere like sticking Stinger, Mappyland, Mc Kids, and any Disney game into a blender. As the boy you can create magical rainbows to trap your enemies. Do not be fooled into thinking the game is easy, by the third island the game gets serious with the natural and enemy obstacles you must pass. Still, I enjoy playing this arcade conversion.
