Ultra Games. Did they quit making video games or did they simply just dissapear?

Ultra games is responsible for such games as TMNT and Skate or Die.They were on top for awhile and then one day they were just gone! What happened to them? I don't know. You could say, well, Skate or Die 2 came out in 1990, but it was made by Electronic Arts. Did Electronic Arts buy Ultra Games or did Ultra simply quit the buisness?

Well someone did know and was nice enough to tell me so here is what happened.

For a while, Konami published some of their games under the name "Ultra Games". I guess they just decided to go back to using their original name all the time. ~Light Warrior 5

So the case is solved thanks to Light Warrior but there will be another one soon.

Hi! ShadowMan024 making an ammendment to the following Mallrat originial article. Back in the NES period, Nintendo forced game makers and publishers to only release a set number of titles a year to ensure quality. Konami came up with Ultra Games so they could release more NES games. Frankly, I agree with Nintendo about quality, but Konami/Ultra Games never released a bad game. They could have made 1000 NES games in 1988 and people would have bought every single one of them.
